Short answer

Oneshot Gems is a browser game platform from Levy Street’s company: a swipeable feed of instantly playable 2D and 3D games. Anyone can play free. Creators can describe a game in plain language, play the result and keep improving it, or remix existing games, and developers can build and upload games from their own coding tool through the Oneshot Gems Game Maker MCP server.

  • Games run instantly in the browser in an isolated sandbox.
  • Generated games go through quality and safety checks before joining the shared library.
  • Developers can publish from Claude Code, Codex or Cursor via an MCP server.

What it is

Oneshot Gems treats games like short videos: open it, swipe, and the next game is already running. The library spans quick 2D and 3D games across genres, playable on desktop or phone with no install. Players send “Gem” reactions to favourites and follow creators.

Making games with AI

The more interesting half is creation. A creator describes a game idea in plain language, plays the result, and keeps improving it by describing changes. Existing games can be remixed the same way. For developers, the Oneshot Gems Game Maker is an MCP server that gives a coding agent the platform’s SDK, guidelines and base assets, so a game can be built in Claude Code or Codex and uploaded directly.

Players
Free, instant play in the browser with ads; reactions, follows and a library to explore.
Creators
Paid plans to generate and remix games by prompt, using credits.
Developers
Build with their own coding agent through the MCP server; local uploads need no credits.
Safety
Games run in an isolated sandbox, and generated games pass quality and safety checks before joining the shared library.

What it shows

Oneshot Gems puts two ideas from our other work into one product. From World of ClaudeCraft: AI coding agents can build real, playable software quickly when the structure around them is good. From Idyllic: consumer generative AI needs moderation, cost control and a reason to come back. The MCP server is also a practical example of the pattern we use to connect AI agents to business systems, covered in MCP for business systems.

Questions people ask

What is Oneshot Gems?

A web app with a swipeable feed of quick browser games. You can play free, react to favourites, and, with a creator plan, generate and remix games by describing them in plain language. It is published by Dreamhome AI Limited, the company that trades as Levy Street.

How do developers publish games to Oneshot Gems?

Through the Oneshot Gems Game Maker, an MCP server that connects coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor to the platform’s SDK and base assets. Games built this way are private until the creator posts them, and local MCP uploads need no credits.

Are AI-generated games moderated?

Yes. The platform states that generated games go through quality and safety checks and may require publication review before appearing in the shared library, and every game runs in an isolated sandbox.
