Strong builders should get in touch.

We look for people who sit close to the problem, understand the operating constraint, and ship systems that make work faster, clearer or more profitable. Even when no role is listed, we want to hear from strong builders.

Who we look for

Levy Street is a small team that builds production AI for New Zealand organisations and runs its own products. We hire for judgement and output, not titles. The people who do well here:

  • Ship. You have put things in front of real users and kept them running.
  • Go to the problem. You would rather sit with the people doing the work than guess from a requirements document.
  • Measure. You know how to tell whether an AI system is actually right, and you care when it is not.
  • Use the tools. You work fluently with AI coding agents and know where they help and where they hurt.

Areas we hire in

AI engineering
Agents, retrieval, evaluation, integrations and the production systems around models.
Product design
Interfaces that make probabilistic systems clear and trustworthy.
Infrastructure
Reliable, observable, secure platforms for AI workloads.
Commercial
People who can scope AI work honestly and turn it into lasting client relationships.

How to apply

Email hello@levystreet.com with a short note about what you have built and links to work you are proud of: a repository, a product, a write-up. There is no form to fill in and no cover letter template. If you want a feel for how we work first, read our engineering guides, look at World of ClaudeCraft on GitHub, or meet the team.

Levy Street is based in Wellington.
